This is the recommended verification method, especially for international travel. Follow these steps to switch your primary verification method to the mobile app.
Step 1. Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info and log in using your ECU email and passphrase. The My Sign-Ins dialog box opens.
Step 2. Click +Add method. The Add a method dialog box opens.
Step 3. From the drop-down menu, choose Authenticator app. Click Add.
Step 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and configure the Microsoft Authenticator app.
