Tutorial - Connect a Device to the ECU Wired Network

Overview

If your computer has already onboarded to the eduroam wireless network, you do not need to take further action. Just plug the computer into the wired network port. If your computer has not yet onboarded to eduroam, you will be redirected to onboard.ecu.edu. See these onboarding instructions.

Register other network devices like gaming consoles in the My Devices portal to avoid daily registration.

Step 1. Connect your device.

Plug your device into the network port using an Ethernet cable. Turn on the device.

Step 2. Authenticate using your PirateID and password.

Type in your PirateID and password. Click Sign In. The Acceptable Use Policy dialog box opens.

Step 3. Read the acceptable use policy.

Read the policy. Click Accept. The Welcome Message dialog box opens.

Step 4.

Click the OK button. Your device is now connected to the ECU wired network.

The Campus Living home page opens. You are now connected to the ECU network.
