ECU-managed macOS users continue to manage their ECU password locally.
Overview
Your ECU password requires a yearly reset. If your accont is locked, see the Related Articles on this page.
Step 1
From a computer, navigate to your Microsoft 365 Security Info: mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.
Step 2
Click Password in the list (or Change Password in the menu).
Step 3
The Change your password dialog box opens. Type in your current ECU password. Type in and confirm a new password. click Submit.
Step 4
The Success, password changed dialog box opens. Click Done.
You also receive an email reminding you to update devices, such as your mobile phone or tablet with your new password).
Step 5
While in Security Info, check to make sure you have both password reset methods, phone number AND alternate email address, set up as well as multiple MFA sign-in methods. Add a method by clicking the Add a Sign-in method link.
