Overview

A passkey resides on a physical device like your mobile phone or a security key and is a replacement credential for your password. Passkeys provide passwordless log in, are phishing-resistant and secure.

Supported devices: Passkeys are supported on devices running iOS 17 or later and Android 14 or later. NOTE: Biometric data stays on your device and is never shared with Microsoft.

Process

  1. Set up the passkey on your mobile device. You may be prompted to set an PIN for your device.
  2. Log in to your ECU Microsoft 365 account security info to add a sign-in method. See these instructions.
