Overview
Review your storage quota for both Outlook and OneDrive. Not available for mobile versions.
OneDrive
Review Online
- Sign in to your Microsoft 365 home page at pirate365.ecu.edu.
- Click the app launcher icon (upper left).
- Choose OneDrive from the flyout menu. OneDrive Home opens.
- On the navigation pane (left), scroll all the way down. Your storage usage is at the bottom of the navigation pane.
Organize files
- From OneDrive Home, click My Files in the navigation pane. A list of your folders and files opens.
- To free up space, choose individual or multiple files (click the radio button beside several files). Delete or download the files. If you delete files, be sure to empty the recycle bin.

Review Computer
- Click the blue cloud OneDrive icon.
- Click Settings icon.
- Open the Sync and backup dialog box. Storage shows in the lower left.
- Click the Manage storage button. Your OneDrive opens online to a list of files sorted by size. Choose one or more files to delete or download.

Outlook
Review online
- Sign in to your Microsoft 365 home page at pirate365.ecu.edu.
- Click the app launcher icon (upper left).
- Choose Outlook from the flyout menu. Outlook opens.
- Select Settings (top right). The settings dialog box opens.
- Choose General, then Storage. Choose a folder, such as Deleted Items and click the drop down to empty the folder. Choose delete all items or a time frame.

Review Outlook desktop app
- From the open Outlook desktop app, click File. Your account information opens. The Mailbox Settings area shows your storage stats.
Add usage to Outlook status bar (Windows)
- Right-click the status bar in the Outlook desktop app. The Customize Status Bar dialog box opens.
- Click Quota Information. Your stats show in the lower left corner of the app at all times.

Set an Outlook Rule
- You might wish to set a rule to organize messages as they are received. From the dialog box, you can quickly configure conditions and actions to automatically manage messages.
