I cannot add an ECU collaborator to my survey project. How do I do this?

You cannot add an account that does not exist; therefore, the ECU collaborator must create his or her account FIRST at the Qualtrics login page. After the account has been created, you can then select and add the ECU collaborator.

My Qualtrics emails are going to my Outlook junk folder. How can I fix this?

Outlook online: Click the junk folder to open it. Right-click a Qualtrics email and click the Mark as not junk option. The message then moves back to your inbox.

Outlook program on your computer: Open the junk folder and right-click a Qualtrics email message. Choose Junk from the options list. A fly-out menu opens. Choose Never Block Sender.

There is no Save button that allows users to exit the survey and continue later. How does the Save and Continue functionality work when enabled?

When a user clicks the Next or Back button in the survey, their current progress is saved.

If a user accesses the survey through a unique link sent out by the survey mailer, the progress is saved on Qualtrics’ end, and the user can access the survey again from anywhere.

If the user is accessing the survey through the generic survey link that appears when clicking Distribute Survey, this progress is saved in a browser cookie. The user can come back if they click on the survey link in the same browser on the same computer.

How do I add a Submit button to the last page of my survey?

TBD

What is the difference between the generic link and unique link?

The generic link appears when you click Distribute Survey. If you copy this link and paste it into your email or website, anyone can click the link and access the survey.

When you use the survey mailer, each participant receives a unique survey link. This link is only used once and cannot be shared. Unique links keep track of respondents, since the participant’s email address shows in their response.
