Overview

Enterprise NAS provides network file storage for personal HOME folders and department/shared folders. PirateDrive is one example of an ECU Enterprise NAS server.

To "map" or "mount" a drive means to create a shortcut to a resource you often use, such as a Piratedrive folder. Please be logged in to the INTRA domain on campus or connected off campus through a VPN connection.

NOTE: You can map a drive to your personal NAS folder through the folder name: "piratedrive.intra.ecu.edu\your-folder-name" or by replacing the folder name with HOME: "piratedrive.intra.ecu.edu\HOME."

If your department maintains a shared folder, the department administrator provides the folder name.

Prerequisites

  1. Your computer is ECU-managed (assigned by your department).
  2. On campus? Log in using WHfB or other authentication method.
