Overview
Xtender is an imaging and storage system used by administrative staff to capture, organize and retrieve paper and computer-generated documents at ECU.
Step 1
Log in to Xtender. Open the batch to be moved or copied from Manage Batches.
Step 2
Under the Batch heading, choose the Copy Move Pages icon. The Copy or Move Pages to New Batch dialog box opens.
Step 3
- Document Pages field:
- By default, the entire page range is shown.
- Otherwise, type in a page range or separate pages: Examples: “1-3” or “1, 3, 5” or “1-3, 5”
- Target Application field. Select the application receiving the batch.
- Batch Name. Name the new batch based on your department standards. The default is your username , creation date and time.
- Batch Security. Choose Public.
- Index New Document checkbox:
- Checked. After the batch is moved/copied, it automatically opens to be indexed.
- Unchecked. After the batch is moved/copied, the workflow continues as expected.
Step 4
After completing all fields, choose either Copy or Move.
