Overview

Windows Defender (Windows 10) or Microsoft Defender Antivirus (Windows 11) is the antivirus solution bundled with Windows. It is automatically configured for scans and protection and receives updates from Microsoft. If you install another antivirus program on your Windows computer, Defender is automatically deactivated. If you remove the other antivirus program, Defender automatically starts protecting your computer again.
