Overview
If you forget your Windows Hello for Business PIN, follow these instructions to reset.
During this process, you will need another sign-in method to verify your identity, such as the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Step 1
Type "Sign-in options" into the Search bar and click Enter. The Accounts > Sign-in options dialog box opens.

Step 2
From the Ways to sign in area, click PIN (Windows Hello) to open the options.

Step 3
From the drop-down options, choose Related links I forgot my PIN.

NOTE: The Change your PIN option is if you know your current PIN but want to change it.
Step 4
The Are you sure? dialog box opens. It states you should only reset your PIN if you forgot it or it stopped working. This message is warning you that once you select yes, your PIN is wiped, and you won't be able to use WHfB if you don't have the ability to complete the authentication in Step 3.
Click Continue.

Step 5
The Set up a PIN dialog box opens. Type in and confirm a new PIN. Click OK.
