Overview
Poll Everywhere provides a platform for students to ask questions, participate in group activities and share thoughts through their phone or computer.
Follow these steps to join a poll using a web browser.
Step 1
Go to www.pollev.com and make sure you are logged in with your ECU email address.
Note: If you are already logged in, you see a Settings button to the left rather than Log in.
Step 2
In the Join presentation dialog box, 1) type in your instructor's PirateID username, then 2) select Join.
Note: Your instructor may have you go directly to pollev.com/[instructor username]. If so, log in with your ECU email address to ensure participation and grades are recorded correctly.
Step 3
Select Register to confirm you want to register for credit, then Register to confirm your responses can be viewed.
Note: Your instructor is only able to view your responses to their activities, not all your responses in Poll Everywhere. Tech support staff at ECU and Poll Everywhere could potentially view responses in the unlikely event they assist with troubleshooting.
Step 4
Registration is complete, and you can select Join presentation to join the instructor's presentation.
