Overview

ECU's sites.ecu.edu is available for hosting course websites. This web environment uses WordPress blogging and a web content management system. WordPress allows users to create and manage websites or blogs without needing HTML or other coding language.

NOTE: Faculty can grant access to students to allow them to create posts and use other features.

*sites.ecu.edu offers a limited set of themes. Additional themes can be requested but must pass a review.

Consultations

• Available for basic site set up and best practices for using websites in courses.
• At this time we are unable to offer assistance for site development, use of plug-ins, user management or theme customization.

Training

• No instructor-led training is currently provided for use of sites.ecu.edu.
