IT Training and Communications

Our team's mission

The IT Training and Communications Team is committed to advancing university-wide IT initiatives through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and collaborative engagement. Our mission is to manage the development and delivery of inclusive, effective, and data-informed training programs; oversee comprehensive IT communications and outreach; and ensure alignment with institutional goals and ITCS priorities.

We serve as a vital liaison between ITCS and campus stakeholders, fostering awareness, adoption, and proficient use of IT services. Through strategic planning, we lead change management for major IT projects and service rollouts, ensuring timely and impactful messaging across the university.

Our training programs are designed to empower faculty, staff, and students with the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently navigate and utilize IT services. We promote digital literacy, compliance, and service adoption through  learning experiences grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. By continuously evaluating training effectiveness through feedback and analytics, we strive to enhance learning outcomes and support the evolving needs of the university community.
