Overview
You must be on the ECU campus using a mobile device to create a guest account.
As an ECU guest, you can request a temporary network account that is then approved by your faculty/staff sponsor. These instructions step you through the account request process. All network guests must be sponsored by ECU faculty or staff.
Your sponsor receives your request by email and approves through the sponsor.ecu.edu portal. Your temporary credentials are then emailed or texted to you.
Step 1. Connect to the ecu-guest network
Connect using your mobile device.
Step 2. Request the temporary account
You do not yet have log in credentials, so click the “Don’t have an account?” link.

Step 3. Complete the form
All text boxes are required.

Step 4. Request the account be created
Click the Request Account Be Created button. The Account Submitted for Approval dialog box opens. Click OK. An email has been sent to the ECU sponsor.
Once the request is approved by the sponsor, account credentials are emailed or texted to you. The sponsor also has the option to print them for you.
