Students


  1. Students using the Adobe CC software for coursework are entitled to a FREE license through the My Access student portal.
  2. Once the license email is received, student installs the Creative Cloud desktop app to computer. Programs, mobile apps and other items are downloaded and accessed through the CC desktop app.
  3. Download programs, mobile apps and access other items through the CC desktop app, or access online at creativecloud.adobe.com/apps.
  4. This software is requested and downloaded as a self-service.
  5. By downloading the software, student agrees software is for ECU purposes only.
  6. This software can only be installed on one computer.
  7. Students must renew the license annually.
  8. An unused license can be revoked.
  9. License ends when ECU account is deactivated. Student agrees to remove Adobe from computer. Student is responsible for exporting content.

  11. License includes 100GB Adobe cloud-based storage. No sensitive data storage allowed.
  12. By downloading software student agrees to Adobe's General Terms of Use.

Instructors


  1. Instructors teaching a course where students use Adobe CC are entitled to a FREE license.
  2. License is for ECU instructional purposes and must be integrated into the course syllabus.
  3. License is requested through the Adobe Products Licensing service request. The course syllabus must be included in the request.
  4. Once the license email is received, faculty installs the Creative Cloud desktop app to computer. Programs, mobile apps and other items are downloaded and accessed through the CC desktop app or access online at creativecloud.adobe.com/apps.
  5. Software may be installed on two computers (ECU-owned and/or personal).
  6. Contract duration is 3 years (FY23, FY24, FY25). Annual renewal required.
  7. An unused license can be revoked.
  8. If instructor no longer requires license for teaching purposes, instructor agrees to provide department FOAP to pay renewal for the remainder of the 3-year contract.
  9. License ends if instructor leaves ECU. Instructor agrees to remove Adobe from computer/s and mobile devices. Instructor is responsible for exporting content.

Administrative


  1. Administrative (non-instructional faculty/staff) use of Adobe CC is requested through PORT ITCS Software Catalog using department FOAP.*
  2. Full name and PirateID required for each license requested.
  3. Contract commitment is 3 years (FY23, FY24, FY25) with recurring annual, nonrefundable chargeback cost of $48.55 (3 years). Cost is prorated as license at 2 and 1 year.
  4. Once the license email is received, staff installs the Creative Cloud desktop app to computer. Programs, mobile apps and other items are downloaded and accessed through the CC desktop app or access online at creativecloud.adobe.com/apps.
  5. License is for ECU purposes only.
  6. Software may be installed on two computers (ECU-owned and/or personal).
  7. If employee no longer requires software, license may be transferred to another employee by submitting the Software Support request (see Related Services on this page).
  8. License ends if employee leaves ECU. Employee agrees to remove Adobe from computer/s and mobile devices. Employee is responsible for exporting content.

Adobe Acrobat Pro Single License


  1. Adobe Acrobat Pro is included in the Adobe CC license. However, a single license for Acrobat Pro is available for employees.
  2. This single license is requested through PORT ITCS Software Catalog using department FOAP.*
  3. Full  name and PirateID required for each license requested.
  4. Contract commitment is 3 years (FY23, FY24, FY25) with recurring annual, nonrefundable chargeback cost of $10.55.
  5. License is for ECU purposes only.
  6. Software may be installed on two computers (ECU-owned and/or personal).
  7. If employee no longer requires software, the license may be transferred to another employee by submitting the Software Support request (see Related Services on this page).
  8. License ends if employee leaves ECU. Employee agrees to remove Adobe from computer/s and mobile devices.

*If you do not have access to ECU's PORT purchase order system, contact your department’s purchasing representative. If multiple licenses are being ordered, attach a list of all licensees and their pirateID to one purchase request.
