Faculty/staff submit this service request for an ECU license to the Adobe products listed below. Students follow the process outlined in the Related Article, "Adobe CC Request Process - Students."

Adobe Creative Cloud is a suite of desktop and mobile applications used for graphic design, video/photography editing and web development. The license also includes Adobe Cloud storage (100GB) for non-sensitive files. Some of the popular applications in Adobe CC include Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign and many more. Mobile apps and extras like Adobe Fonts and Spark are included. The download includes the desktop app – which keeps you organized and updated – as well as links to tutorials and user blogs.

Adobe Acrobat Pro is a complete PDF productivity solution that allows you to create a PDF from any type of file, fully annotate and edit existing PDFs, convert scans and more.

You are responsible for exporting your content and uninstalling the software when you leave ECU.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Students. No cost to install on one computer. See the Related Articles section on this page for a link to the student request process.

Faculty. Instructional license is no cost. Syllabus required as part of request. May be installed on ECU-managed and personal computers.

Faculty and Staff. Non-instructional license is fee-based for administrative/non-instructional use. Department FOAP required. Includes both Adobe CC and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Adobe Acrobat Pro Single License

Faculty and Staff. An Adobe Acrobat Pro single license available for administrative/non-instructional use. Department FOAP required (see Fees).

A reduced-fee license is now available for the remainder of this contract cycle for Adobe Products! Details below.*

  • You commit to a 3-year contract with license renewal annually.
  • There is no cost for an Adobe license to students and faculty using Adobe CC for coursework. The number of available licenses is limited.
  • *The license cost for Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat Pro are now available at a reduced rate all year for faculty/staff using Adobe products for research or administrative work through the remainder of this contract cycle (2 years).
    • The non-instructional cost of an Adobe CC license is $44. Adobe CC includes Adobe Acrobat Pro. FOAP required. The number of licenses cannot be reduced.
    • The cost of an Adobe Acrobat Pro single license (does not include Adobe CC) for two years is $15 the first year and $10 the second year. FOAP required, charged each October. The number of licenses cannot be reduced.
