Adobe Creative Cloud includes a robust set of applications used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, along with a set of mobile applications and some optional cloud services.

Cloud Storage

Users are also provided 100GB of Adobe Cloud storage. Adobe Cloud storage cannot be used to store sensitive data. Visit our Sensitive Data Storage page to learn about options for storing sensitive data.

Request and Download Adobe CC

Students

This process allows you to request and download the software at any time.

Step 1: Request Adobe CC Student License
Check your email for a confirmation that you have been added to our enterprise licensing group.

Step 2: Download the Adobe CC Software.

Note: Students must renew licenses annually. We’ll remind you. 

Faculty Using in Instruction

Faculty integrating the software into their course and syllabus receive the software at no cost.

Step 1: Request Your Adobe CC Faculty Instructional License.
After your request is processed, you will receive an email with download instructions. 

Step 2: Download the Adobe CC Software.

Students

Faculty Instructional

Admin/Non-Instructional

  • Students request and download Creative Cloud as a self-service.
  • Students get a license at no cost.
  • License are connected to the student’s PirateID.
  • Software can be installed on one computer.
  • Students must renew licenses annually and unused licenses may be revoked.
  • When students graduate/leave, their licenses end. They will need to uninstall the software or purchase a license from Adobe. Users are responsible for exporting content.
  • License is for ECU instructional purposes.
  • Software must be integrated into the course syllabus.
  • Software can be installed on institutionally and personally owned devices.
  • Licenses must be renewed annually, and unused licenses may be revoked.
  • When user leaves, the license ends. You agree to ensure license is removed from any computer it is installed on.  Users are responsible for exporting content.
  • License is for ECU business purposes (e.g., research, administrative).
  • Software can be installed on institutionally and personally owned devices.
  • Agree to pay annual renewal provided FOAP for term of contract (3 years).
  • Agree to transfer software to another user if purchased license becomes available.
  • When user leaves, the license ends. You agree to ensure license is removed from any computer it is installed on.  Users are responsible for exporting content.

Creative Cloud is licensed through Adobe.  All users who download Creative Cloud agree to Adobe's Terms & Conditions.

Sensitive Data

The 100GB of Adobe Cloud storage cannot be used to store sensitive data.

Leaving the University
  •  Your license ends when you leave the university. You may need to purchase a License from Adobe.
  • Users are responsible for exporting content.

Fees

Instruction/Coursework–No Cost

  • Students get a license at no cost
  • Faculty, who have integrated the software as part of their syllabus, also get the software at no cost.

Non-Instructional/Administrative­–Reduced Cost

There are a limited number of licenses that can be purchased at a reduced cost  ($44) for non-instructional/administrative purposes.

Note: Approval from the departmental Budget Manager and the appropriate FOAP is required before a reduced cost license can be assigned.
