Microsoft 365's Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is a more modern, more secure password reset process that gives ECU alumni the control for a password reset anytime, anywhere using a short, online form and identity verification. All you need is your authentication device.

SSPR’s up-to-date security enforces complexity requirements and allows ITCS to quickly apply new industry-standard security policies when required, keeping your data protected.

Register with SSPR.

The first time you use the SSPR service, you will register your account.

  1. Go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com. The password reset page opens. Was your alumni account created before 2014? Log in with login.microsoftonline.com.

  3. Enter the characters in the picture or the words in the audio in the second text box.
