ECU Email Support

Overview

ECU email is available through your Microsoft 365 subscription and includes email, calendar, contacts and tasks as well as other features and productivity apps. Mailbox space is 100GB. See the related articles to learn more features.

Get Started

Account access

• Web browser. mymail.ecu.edu*
• Desktop or laptop computer. The Outlook mail client is part of the Office download for Mac or PC through your ECU Microsoft 365 subscription.
• Mobile. Outlook mobile app. Download from your device's app store.

*Alumni who graduated before 2014 log in to outlook.com/alumni.ecu.edu.

Mobile Setup

• Microsoft Outlook is the recommended email app.
• A device PIN is required.
• Enter these settings:
  Username: complete email address | Exchange Server: outlook.office365.com | Domain: leave this blank
• Changing your passphrase through the passphrase maintenance portal does NOT update your mobile app logins. To prevent a locked account, see the Passphrase Reset Process related article.
• If you prefer to use your device's default email app (rather than Outlook Mobile), see these setup instructions:

Integrated Services

Your ECU email account is part of the Microsoft 365 subscription and integrates with Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Office. Webex Productivity Tools and Adobe Acrobat can also integrate with email and calendar.
