ECU Collaborate, or SharePoint, is a secure, web-based service available to faculty, staff and student organizations to store, organize, share, and access information from almost any device. Both ECU and non-ECU users can be granted access to a SharePoint site.

Submit the form to request support for your SharePoint site. Every SharePoint space must have both a primary and secondary department contact to manage users and content.

Sensitive data storage on SharePoint is strictly prohibited. Media recorded by ECU constituents must follow the ECU Media Release Consent Guidelines (see the pdf attachment). HR and FERPA data can be stored in SharePoint, but owner approval is required for FERPA data. Submit the  FERPA Data Storage request to begin the approval process. SharePoint sites are not for permanent file storage but are appropriate for department projects, committees, research and grants.
