Overview

Submit this request if your department requires an ECU-managed iPad or Android tablet be configured for a single or multiple users.

Advantages of a managed device include:

  • Protection from accidental location or “Find my Device” locks.
  • Quick reconfiguration and assignment to a new user.
  • Automatic installation of important updates.
  • Auto-connection to Eduroam.
  • Fast app removal or installation, often within 5-15 minutes of ticket submission.
  • Personalized system preferences. Examples include your department YouTube channel, dock and desktop layouts, locked wallpaper settings.

We are happy to discuss a device configuration that meets your department’s needs.
