Overview
Submit this request if your department requires an ECU-managed iPad or Android tablet be configured for a single or multiple users.
Advantages of a managed device include:
- Protection from accidental location or “Find my Device” locks.
- Quick reconfiguration and assignment to a new user.
- Automatic installation of important updates.
- Auto-connection to Eduroam.
- Fast app removal or installation, often within 5-15 minutes of ticket submission.
- Personalized system preferences. Examples include your department YouTube channel, dock and desktop layouts, locked wallpaper settings.
