Overview
A passkey resides on a physical device like your mobile phone or a security key and is a replacement credential for your password. Passkeys provide passwordless log in, are phishing-resistant and secure.
Supported devices: Passkeys are supported on devices running iOS 17 or later and Android 14 or later. NOTE: Biometric data stays on your device and is never shared with Microsoft.
Process
- Set up the passkey on your mobile device. You may be prompted to set an PIN for your device.
- Log in to your ECU Microsoft 365 account security info to add a sign-in method. See these instructions.
