Overview
Webex is an online communication platform. Faculty, staff and students (in or outside Canvas) can meet online on or off campus. Faculty and staff can make phone calls through Webex once their account is activated.

Features and Benefits
Personal room. Access through ecu.webex.com. Schedule or start an impromptu meeting through this online space. Good for one-on-one meetings. Share your unique URL to participants: ecu.webex.com/meet/<your-PirateID>.
Canvas integration. Schedule course meetings through the Canvas interface. Students are automatically enrolled in meetings, and recordings are automatically shared.

Desktop App. Schedule and join meetings, start an unscheduled meeting from your computer or make business calls using your ECU office number through your computer or mobile device.
Outlook add-in. Schedule, join or begin meetings through Microsoft Outlook. The Meet Now feature starts an unscheduled meeting.
Mobile app. Available through your device’s app store.
Webex Events. Designed for large-scale, online events and webinars. Features include application sharing, chat, Q&A panel, recording and whiteboard annotation.
