All ECU users are assigned a unique username called a PirateID. Activated through the passphrase maintenance portal, the PirateID and a secure passphrase are used to access ECU IT Systems such as email.

We can install new software purchased by your department or repair/reinstall the operating system for your computer. Software repairs can include re-installation, reimaging a system’s operating system or repair, if possible. If installing new software purchased by your department, please have the license number, installation disk (if applicable) and the purchase order available for the desktop support technician.

A virtual private network (VPN) is a secure connection between a user’s device and internal ECU campus resources. Submit this form if you are having connectivity issues with VPN or if a department-sponsored non-employee requires VPN access.

The Data and Report Request form is a centralized ticket for faculty and staff to submit new requests for institutional data and reports.

MFA is a security action to verify your identity during log in to the Canvas learning management system and Office 365 (including email) from a non-ECU network or logging in to ECU through the virtual private network (remoteaccess.ecu.edu | piratesvpn.ecu.edu). MFA is mandatory for students, faculty and staff.

Banner HR is a module of ECU's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Use this service for assistance with Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs) and HR Internet Native Banner (INB).

Cornerstone is ECU's employee learning management system. Users who require assistance with training, such as reviewing their transcript or scheduling events, should complete this form.

Occasionally, a user outside ECU, such as a vendor, visiting medical student or research collaborator requires a PirateID to access a particular ECU system like SharePoint, VPN, FTP, etc. Submit this form to request a PirateID for a non-ECU user. This PirateID requires renewal after six months.

AppWorx is a job scheduler used for automation of Banner-related processes. Submit this form to request a new run request, schedule a process flow (chain), migration (prompt, role, process/chain component change) or modification of an existing job or schedule.

Departments requiring an email account - for example, an inbox for website feedback - should submit the Departmental Email Account Request form.

The Admissions Portal is designed to help personalize a student's admission experience. Once an account is created, the student can apply for admission, track admission status, receive information pertaining to specific academic interests and sign up for tours and open house events
